I had Monday off due to MLK day. We were very fortunate with the weather as the temps were in the upper 60s. Wes and I made food and had a picnic at the beach. We sat there for about four hours and even napped a little bit. It was a very relaxing day.
On Wednesday, I woke up early and did Ninja”ish” with my co-workers/friends Melissa, Merty, Cass, and Paige. The photo from this week was from that run. I can wait until the sun starts coming up earliar. Anyway, right after the run, I ordered my favorite breakfast burrito and rushed home to watch the inauguration. It wasn’t easy to concentrate on work that day. I felt a great sense of relief after the inauguration. It literally feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest. It is so nice not to have a tweeter-in-chief anymore.
This week, I ran 33.6 miles and once again, ran my longest run at 17.3 miles. It was a cold and windy run, but I was able to get it done a couple of hours before the train started.
This week, I started reading The Intelligent Investor, by Benjamin Graham. It was initially published in 1949, but many people think it is one of the best books ever written on investing, and I need all the help I can get.
