Rumor has it that Visual Studio 2008 is going to be released by the end of the month.  I have had it installed for some time now.  I am very excited to start using it at work.  Overall it seems much faster to run.  I am also excited to start using all the new C# features like LINQ, automatic properties, object initializers, extension methods, anonymous types and implicitly typed local variables .  I found out that New Horizons is having a half day workshop on November 27th to go over the new features in Visual Studio 2008.  Best of all, it is completely free.
